It has almost been a month sense the last blog and a lot has happended. We went to the martin Luther King day parade with the neighbors. Dustin has had and ear infection. I had mid term got a 65 on me Educational Psychology mid term. It was even and open book. The good news is the rest of my grades in that class are all A's. I got a 91 on my American History midterm, that one was proctored and I did better on that one. Shocker. Last week I took Ryleigh back to the eye doctor. We really felt like we needed another opininon. Anyway she is still very very far sided and still really really needs glasses. I'm just confused that she does not like her glasses at all. I would think that if you could see better you would want them on and she does not like them at all. She will have them the rest of her life and her perscription was wrong. They needed to be stronger. It's something like + 7.2 on one side and +6.25 on the other. Last week I spent saturday in the ER for bronchitius and was sick most of the week. Now Dee has it but he does not want to go sit in an ER this weekened to get a perscription. So happy belated Valentines day.

Just thought that I would update everyone on the events that have unfolded sense the last post.
I found out that I'm being Deployed to Saudi Arabia in May. I'm going to miss my babies. I just started another semester of classes. So far they are not to bad. I think that I will do alright in both of them. I think that I will be able to continue my on-line education while I'm over there. Dustin and Ryleigh have been doing well. They have been playing so well together. Both of them are doing good in school. Dee goes under the knife on Wednesday for his knee. We hope that it will be a speedy recovery. That is all for know.

Ryleigh got her report card today. She did much better this quarter. She did not do bad the last time but, we were happy to see that she made improvements. The only thing that she struggled with was her high frequency words (those words that like; It, is, like, are, a.) We need to work on that. She is counting in multiples of ten and she only needs a little help counting to 100. Today I lost track of time and I was 15 minutes late to pick up Ryleigh. It broke her heart. I was very apologetic, but she was just devastated. She said, "I kept looking for you and when the teacher wanted to take me to the office I was walking slow, and she told me to walk faster, but they did not see my tears." I felt awful. So I took both of them to Dairy Queen for ice cream.
Mrs Diane; Dustin's teacher, told me yesterday that he did not miss a single color or shape that they have on the wall. Every time we are working with Ryleigh, Dustin wants to be a part of it. He is going to be so smart.
Dee went to the Orthopedic Doctor, they said that they were going to operate on the 23rd.
I hurt my knee on Monday and my ears are still ringing not as bad, but still enough to be annoying. So I have an appointment on Monday to get both issues looked at. At least the kids are healthy. I'm excited for tomorrow to find out if the twins are identical, or fraternal. Good luck Jan's, sorry I could not be there.

Next week I'm back for another semester on-line. This weekend I spent most of my time doing things around the house that I promised to do while I was on break. I steam cleaned the rugs, I organized my bill pile, steamed all the carpets in the cars, and scrubbed the kitchen floor with bleach to make sure that I got all of the cracks.I went to the gym tonight and decided that I was going to get a long run in; so at about 2.5 miles I felt a little pull in my knee. I thought that I was just because I was getting into the run. Anyway, I set the tread mill on eight miles an hour to see if I could run it off. I made it to 3 miles and had to stop because my knee hurt. Know Dee and I both have a bad knee. Dee when to the Dr. this morning and they are going to do surgery on the 23 of Jan. I think that I just pulled a muscle. Ryleigh and Dustin are back in school. Dustin was happy to go back. Ryleigh was in a good mood this morning to. She has to get back on schedule she was so tired that she almost fell asleep twice after she got back from school.

The First Post of 2008,
I can't believe how fast that year went by. Just last year on this day I was headed to Florida to do a 45 day Deployment for the Guard. Dee was at home with the Kids.
We had a big 2007. In February Dee and I flipped the Script and Dee went back to work. By the end of the year he transfers positions, but still works for the state. He ended the year with a Knee injury, we don't know where from.
Ryleigh has grown so much. In May she graduated from her pre School and in August she started school and got Glasses, that she hates to wear. Ry knows how to recognise all her numbers and letters. She read her first words this year. The first word that she read to me was: AT. She is starting to tell time.
Dustin is has grown so much this year his Vocabulary is huge. He is a boy that knows what he wants. Dustin started Pre School and he loves it. He does everything that his big sister does. He sings and plays with action figures. He already knows his colors and his ABC's. Dustin gets frustrated easy when he is trying to figure toys and little intricate thing out.
This year I went back to school and I have earned 24 credits and this semester will mark a whole year I'm a little disappointed with my GPA, it is presently a 3.15. I ended the year in pretty good physical health. I Ran 7 Miles on the 30Th in 69 minutes. I have been going to the gym regularly since the beginning of November. I have only lost eight pounds, but I can tell that I'm getting stronger. This year we are going to start eating better. Not dieting, just healthier more fruit and Veggies. I will never deprive myself of Pizza or Pasta. Anyway, Happy Happy New Year!
Just some before and after pictures of Ry and Dustin from Jan. to Dec. 2007

This is a couple pictures of Dee's oldest son Ross and his oldest daughter Sierra at Rosses Marine Graduation.
All of the photos are complements of Aunt Fay(Thank you). She went out there for the Graduation. So thank you for the photos Fay. We don't talk to Ross much anymore, but we are proud of what he is choosing for himself. But on the Georgia side of town, Ryleigh, Dustin and I went to Savannah to Chucky Cheese today. Ryleigh wanted a new pair of shoes so, her and Dustin got a new pair. Happy New Year to Everyone! Love Love.

Christmas was very nice. Dee and I agreed that we would not have a really big Christmas this year and that we would go through the kids toys that they did not play with and donate them to his work. So, we did that and we also bought presents for a 2 year old and a four year old. Ryleigh and Dustin got two of the bigger Items that they asked for. Dustin wanted the little singing spider man guy and Ryleigh wanted one of those three wheeled scooters. They got more then that but those are there favorite. I don't think that Dee kept to the keep it small Christmas theme. I got Two pairs of shorts to work out in, three shirts, two sweat shirts, a web cam, and a wireless key board and mouse. The gift that I think took him over the small
Christmas was the Microsoft Zune. I love it, but after I opened it I felt bad that I went Conservative and got him a iPod shuffle, and three Shirts. I should have done more. If I would have know. I'm having problems with my ear. It sounds like people are talking to me through a tunnel. I have never had an ear infection. It is not so much painful it just feels like I have water in my ear and it wont pop. Today we are going to go register for another semester of college. I have been at it for a year. That year went fast and I have 24 credits and a 3.15 GPA. I got a C and and A this time around. Anyway the kids had a couple friends come over and play. Ryleigh was playing dress up with Destiny and Dustin wanted in on the photo shoot. What a Ham.

I had to work the past two days for the Post office and I have to work on Monday too. I'm not looking forward to mail on Monday.
I am slow when it comes to putting up the mail and they say that Monday is always really bad. I might have to deliver in the dark. Last night after I got off work we went to the Hargis's to to do eat and have our gift exchange. Ryleigh got two Bratz dolls Dustin got a Power Ranger and race car that makes lots of noise. It is Christmas eve and the kids are in bed. I spent the day delivering packages to people so that they could have a merry Christmas. Ryleigh and Dustin helped me put out milk and cookies for Santa Clause. They are both very excited for Christmas day. The store was closed when I went to get fixings for Christmas dinner so, we are going to have Spaghetti for dinner tomorrow. Yeah! Tonight Ryleigh and Dustin opened on gift Dustin opened a Spider man and Ry opened a pink play Cell phone. This weekend has been pretty uneventful for Dee. His knee is hurting him so bad he knows that he needs to stay off of it. That means that he is not playing any golf. That's what I said, "He is not playing any golf."

It is a short little clip but, Ryleigh is singing in her school concert. "Black and white, the perfect combination. White and Black the perfect combination" Every time she claps her hands together they are saying perfect combination. It was a really cute little show. Dustin was trying to sing along with them. I took Ryleigh to the Dr. This morning to make sure she did not have an ear infection. She was good, so I made her go to school. Her teacher told me that everyone in the class wants to sit by Ryleigh. My girl is the social butterfly. Dustin has been out of school all week and Ry gets out on Friday. I have to deliver mail on Friday, Saturday, and Monday.

I stumbled upon my camera. know I have picture of the Christmas Parade and I have pictures of yesterdays family day out at the Guard unit. Dustin is so excited about Santa Clause. He wants to sit on his lap; Ryleigh never wanted to do that. Ryleigh was sick again this last week. She had fevers and a very bad cough. She still has the cough but, she is getting all of her energy back. This week was Finals. I don't have my final grades yet but I got a 100% on my English research paper and a 71% on my Geography final. We will see how it goes. Dee is have some knee problems, he is determined to get a few holes of golf every day. The Post office job is going pretty good. It is a much tougher job then I ever thought it would be. There is just a lot to memor
ize and the more you memorize the faster you get. Don't forget to send all you packages through the USPS. Help me keep my part time job. And that is about it. Peace out.

This week is finales, so I don't have a lot of work to do but the work that I do have it critical.
On Friday Ryleigh Dee and I were up most of the night. Ryleigh decided that she was going to get the flu. at about 6:00 in the morning Ry finally went to sleep. She had Flavor Ice and water the whole day. It was the only thing that she would even let touch her lips. Poor baby girl. I think that we are lucky that the little man did not get it. We went to the Hinesville Christmas Parade. The weather was nice, and Ryleigh really wanted to go. I took pictures, but I can't find my camera. I'm getting a little worried and I have looked every where. Christmas shopping is almost done. Sorry, about the pictures.

It has been a long time once again, but the two classes that I took this semester demand a lot of reading time. By the time I'm done with all that I just want to quit grouping words together forming sentences. Anyway this year is really
exciting as far as Christmas goes. Ryleigh is really getting into it. Dustin just follows her lead. He has been singing bits and peaces of Jingle Bells. It's so cute. Monday me and the kids decorated the house. I put the lights up and the kids helped decorate the tree. They have never interacted that much. Next week is finals for school, I can't believe that it has been a year. That means that I only have three left until I have a degree. I took a picture of Doodles pretending to be a lap dog. Dee is working hard and playing less golf, because by the time he gets home it is dark. Well, that is the Dickerson home front.

It has almost been a month since my last post, for that I apologize but we are all in school and we have all been to Nevada and back. Dee returns from Phoenix tomorrow
. He went out there golf and meat up with his old friend Rocky. From what I've been told he had a good time. Yesterday my mom called and told me that my poor kitty cat Salinas Died. I was sad but I know that she is happy where she is at. So, today the kids and I went to Savannah with Chelsea(the old neighbors daughter) and went to Build-A-Bear. The kids really had a good time. Dustin made a DOG and named it Dog, it is wearing spiderman PJs, Just like Dustin. Ryleigh did a white bear and named her Annabell. We also went to Stride Rite and got both of them a new pair of shoes. After we got back I went to the gym with three other's ladies and ran about three miles. I have a PT test this weekend. If I don't pass anything else I'm pretty sure my run will make up for it. Anyway this week is mid terms and I don't know when I will have time to post next. Love you all. The roses were my B-day present the day that I got home. A lady knocked at my door and gave them to me. My man is a good man.

It has been a never ending circus at the Dickersons. Ryleigh's soccer team won their first game this week. I had four kids show up for a game on Monday and ryleigh took a spill and did not to play anymore so I had two players playing the game. Anyway I got my grades back. I got a B in Sociology and an A in English. This semester I think will be my hardest. I have Geography and English 112. I can't wait to go to NV. only 10 days away. Dustin and Ryleigh have been interacting with each other so much more lately. For the most part it is pointless to even start a movie or a show for them because they always end up running off to play in another room. They are so cute. Ryleigh read her first word to Dee and I this week it was -at- We were so proud of her, she is really starting to catch on. She is doing so much better in school. Dustin is coming home from school singing songs that he is learning like: Wheels on The Buss. Dee has been hard at work, golf, and ESPN @ night. That's all I have for today.

Ryleigh has had two soccer games. For the most part she just runs around looking pretty. However, today she did a great job as the golley. The first game we got crushed, but the kids don't know that. They have had a lot of fun. Dustin was in the ER last week because he had a fever of 102.5, and by the time I got to the ER it was 103, he is much better know. They said that he was on the verge pne
umonia, and he had a ear infection. So, know that he is back in school and he is a big bad three year old. He turned three on the 22nd. I have finals this next week, I have been on orders with the guard for the last three weeks. Dee has been getting a round of golf in here and there. We have had a lot of fun this month and I'm sorry that I have not blogged. I do better next month.

The past few weeks have been eventful. For the most part Ry and Dustin have been sick. Dustin had a ear infection and a fever of 102 degrees. I had a dental appointment. I had mid terms. I did good on my English mid term 100%, but really really crappy on my sociology midterm. 57.75. I had 103%, I did extra credit, and my mid term took my grade down to a 81% I even studied my butt off. Anyway, my soccer team is the Kings. I could sure use some pointers from my Amber of Kelsey. At least they have played the game competitively. I have learned a lot on line. I just want to make sure that they get the good fundamentals. I went to church this morning and Dee went a played a round of golf. I have two weeks on orders out at the base. So I have another full week ahead of me. Love you all.

It has been another long week. This week Dustin has been a little sick. He has a pretty bad cough. He has not had any fever though. First and second week of college have gone well for me. Ryleigh on the other hand has been getting in trouble for talking at school. I don't know how you get a little girl to stop talking. Dee went to visit the school and saw that the teacher had sat her in the back of the class; by herself. We were both very upset. My little girl by herself. We called the teacher that night and talked to her. Ryleigh lost her TV for the day and now I think she knows we are serious about her not talking. We had the Torque converter fixed on the Durango a week and a half ago, and while I was on my mail route the Transmission temp light came on. To make a long story even longer the one that they put in failed. And when it did that It tore up other part of the transmission. Fortunately they said that they would pay for this one. And I have new I"M PREG. Kidding I'm the new soccer coach for 4-5 year olds. Ryleigh is going to be on my team

Dustin is adjusting very well to school. Mrs Diane said that he always puts his stuff away when he is asked, and is always the first in line. I knew he was a leader. Anyway, Ryleigh is also doing good. She had homework for the first time today. The teacher sent a note that said that they would have homework every Tuesday and Thursday. Ryleigh is starting to talk more about all her classes and her friends. I think she is doing very well. Yesterday before Dustin went to school he saw a frog and wanted to play with it and we had time so, he threw rocks
at it and almost got the courage to touch it. This is my first week back at school and I have two hours to study in silence. So I have already found something to do with my time. Oh yeah. Ryleigh is having a fund raiser so you have to look at the web page and then decide what you want to support the effort. If you want too.http://www.4jaxco.com/ I sent most of you an e-mail invite so that you could get access to it her student ID is 916858. It ends on the 24th of AUG so be the dolls that I know you are and support her school.

What is a mom supposed to do with three hours of empty house? We were afraid that Dustin would not do well in the learning environment however, Dustin surprises us again and did very well. When I got there to pick him up he had a book open and was pretending to read. When he saw me he got up, put his book on the shelf, and went back to his chair. What a big boy. Ryleigh is doing good. She is worn out when she gets home. She got a talkative mark on this tracking calender the first day of school. Ry must have been the social butterfly that day. The past few days she has gotten a smiley face for having a great day. Last night I took the kids to the movies. They watched Ratatouille Ryleigh liked it. If the other kids in the theater started laughing then Ry and Dustin would chime in. It was cute. The pictures are of Dustin getting into the car to go to school, him climbing the stairs to the school, and Daddy and him at the school.

First Day of SCHOOL
I can't believe it our baby girl is at school today. She was so calm. Ry will be there from 7:20am to 2:15 PM that is seven hours of school. It is just me and Dustin. His pre school starts on the 10th. We are just going to test it out. It is the same school that Ry went to. Anyway yesterday we went to Tybee and played in the ocean. Dee stayed home, because he knew we would want to spend hours up there. Lots of people were getting stung by Jelly Fish, so we stayed by the edge and let the waves crash on us. We left the beach around four. We did not even get out of the parking lot and Dustin was asleep. Sorry I forgot my camera, so I did not get any pictures.
