Yesterday Dee went to the liberty county board of education to turn in an application. They were closed. When he got home we made a few phone calls to see if Orange park was open. Orange park is the Dog track. It said that it was. So we made the Two and a half hour drive to find out that they were closed. So we went to the McDonald's across the street and ate. On our drive home there was a lot of traffic. And it was raining very hard. When we finally got home I went to get my nails done. This morning Dee is going to try the board of education again. Both of us started playing the biggest loser contest that my sister and her husbands family are doing for the new year. I want to win, so I took Harley for a run this morning.

Don't you hate days like that? that's a long drive for nothing you could have spent the 5 hours getting closer to my house!! Yesterday we went out of our way to the PO and it was closed. Today it's snowing and schools closed.
I should have spent winter break in the car headed to your house then I'd be out of the snow and the kids would have something fun to do.
Everything happens for a reason. Good to hear you all are safe and in good health. Now I have two soldiers down. Mike and Nick are both sick. I think I will go to the casino to avoid their bug. Does that sound like a good enough excuse to go to the boat. Works for me. Kids look great and I enjoy your daily dialogue. You keep us all going. We would not be as encouraged to write as often if it not been for your daily reminders.
The rolls turned out great. Cleve got me a couple of books and a bathrobe.
