Yesterday we went to the Doctor. Ryleigh has an ear infection and Dustin is getting on. So they are both on amoxicillan. Poor babies. After we went to the Dr. I took the kids to the store so they could pick out a toy. Ryleigh wanted to look at the fish. So her and Dustin were so excited about the fish I decided to get both of them one. They both got Betta's. Ryleighs is a girl that she named Lizzy. I don't know why. And Dustin's is a male Betta that I named Blue, because he is blue. I thought that this breed might live longer then toes flaky gold fish. The one at the top of the bowl is the female the on at the bottom is the male.

Good luck in the fish raising. I hope the kiddos feel better soon.
I have some extra beta food and water drops for fish that we just couldn't use after we cleaned out the bowl one day and Sierra decided to pur the mug of water with the live fish into the soapy hot bowl and it slipped over the edge into the drain while I went pee.(in that 1 minute we lost our fish) The first one died of over-feeding. we are done with pets - and may possibly try a garden this year.
I think raising kids is already more work that anyone need. and adding anything else living to that is pretty insane. JMHO
