My days off go to fast. Ryleigh and I hit up Wal*Mart this morning, before Dee went to play a round. Ryleigh and Dustin chased each other all over the house today. I did absolutely nothing constructive. Tomorrow the Durango goes back in to fix the same problem it had before. So I will be late for work. I hope that they don't have it as long as they did the last time they tried to fix it. Ryleigh wanted me to take a picture of her with my hat on. So that is the photo of the day.
That was the face she chose for this picture.

Just thought I would drop everyone a line. Dee had his first job interview this morning. He feels pretty good about the interview. The cars check engine light came on again. So I went to auto zone and got a free diagnostic test. It is the 02 sensor again. And it is the same one. So I went to the dealership and they said that we have to wait until Friday to bring it in. I hope they pick up the tab on this one. I don't really want to pay for something that I paid for a week ago. Besides that we guess that Dustin is allergic to Bananas. Just like most of my family. After we quit giving him the bananas the hives have not come back. Ryleigh was worn out today she took a nap on her own. So she will be up until around 11:00 o'clock. Dee also took a trip out to the local golf course helped them pick the range and played nine holes. So we sat and watched American Idol and that concludes the day.

I had the privilege to go to work this morning. Dee let the babies play in the backyard until they had no legs left. Dee called me at work today and told me that when he closed the window today he startled peanut and peanut fell over and could not get off of his back. So he is not doing as well as we thought. Harley is still as annoying as ever, but he keeps us on our toes. Dustine is doing well, he did not have any benadryl today and he did not break out in hives. Ryleigh tried to jump rope with me she kept trying to giving up. She will get it soon. She kept coming back for more.

Hello all. Dustin is doing much better today was the last day that we had to give him the steroid. We have to fight him to take the benadryl. He is sleeping like a rock. Yesterday Ryleigh and I went for a good long walk. I think we walked over a mile. Well, Ryleigh gave up on the way home. So I packed her for about a quarter of a mile. I went up to Savannah last night to have dinner with my new friend. Then Wendy her husband and I played poker for a couple hours. It was fun. Dee has spent most of the day relaxing. It is good for him he needed to catch up. He is supposed to be watching football games. I think that the back of his eyelids are winning.

What a day,
We started the day out by letting Dee go out to the golf course. The dodge is out of car doctor. It is still making noises that I asked them to fix. I went and got my nails and toes done. While Dustin took a nap Ryleigh and I washed the cars. Dee went for a bike ride. When he got home I took Dustin to the ER. He has hives that keep getting worse. They sent us home with some steroids and benedril. Still no luck finding parts for the cougar. And the job hunt continues.

They found out what was wrong with the Durango. Nothing major, so far. They have had it since Monday. We are now going on five days and it is still not fixed. They say that they are waiting for parts to come in. I don't think they have called us once in the five days that they have had it. What a way to do business. On a better note it is my first three day weekend in a month. I love to came home and see the kids wearing each other out. They have been playing hard all day. I'm glad that they are getting old enough to entertains each other. The search for a 71 cougar parts is proving to be complicated.

I have more bad news I got in a wreck last night. It was just a fender bender. I got lucky I hit my Flight Chief(boss) It was all my fault. I thought that he had left the yield sign and I looked over my shoulder and gunned it and he did not leave. So at about Two miles an hour I pushed him. No one was hurt. The cars front grill cracked and the driverside blinker is broken. He had a small dent in his bumper. The Durango got towed to the dealership this morning. They never got to work on it today the were to busy. So now that all the bad stuff is out of the way. Ryleigh and Dustin are staying busy. The weather is supposed to be nice over the next couple of days. So maybe we can get them outside. Dee Went for a ride on the Harley this morning. He is still a little upset that the Cougar got a boo boo. He says that he is not mad at me. He is just upset that the it happended.

Back from work. The house is in one piece. Ryleigh spet the day playing with her new horse. And Dustin spent the day chasing her around the house. After the long evening bath I tried to twist dusting hair.
You can't really tell. I don't think it will hold. It would be cute if daddy had son had the same hair due. Peanut is still not doing well. We missed his Vet appointment. I had to work late that day. The Durango is on the fritz again. So it will sit in the driveway until Monday morning when it will be towed into the dodge dealership. Last night my foot found a piece of glass that was about a inch long. So I pulled about a quarter of an inch of glass out of my foot. I'm glad that my foot found it instead of one of the babies.

howdy!! I graduated my combat training course. I have bruises all over my legs from jumping in and out of the Hummers. It was a great class. They gave us Friday off. So I did nothing all day. Dee went and played 18 holes. Ryleigh did jumping jacks with me. Dustin kept himself busy playing with his toys. Daddy brought the kids home a stick pony. It sings the theme song to the lone ranger. And the little head moves back and forth. Ryleigh has not given Dustin a chance to play with it. But, Ryleigh is calling us cowboy daddy and cowboy mommy. So ya'all tune into tomorrows blog, for more from the Dickerson's Ranch. Ya hear.

Long hard day. I only have two more to go. The combat training has been very informative. Besides feeling like I'm nine months pregnant, plus some with all of the gear on. It has been a great experience. The Durango has crapped out again. Who knows what the problem is this time. Peanut is doing worse then ever. He is still eating. So that is a good sign. I hope that the vet gives us some news tomorrow. We are going to go get a second opinion. I got home around three So Dee got to get out and played some Golf. He said," that it was the most relaxing nine hole he has played in a while. " As for the babies they are chaseing each other around the house picking on each other. I hope that I can get some pictures taken tomorrow.

Dustin was up and down all night long. He is trying to get a couple more teeth. He had a small fever. I qualified on both of my weapons the first try. It was fun. After I got home Dee took the Harley for a quick spin while the kids and I played in the backyard. Dustin kicked his big ball all over the yard. Ryleigh was dancing for all of them. Clapping and stomping. I think that we had every kid in the neighborhood lined up along our fence. No joke. But the babies had a good time. They played until it got dark. Peanut is still leaning to the left. He wanted to play so bad. Harley played fetch until he could not walk anymore. Tomorrow starts another long week If I'm not to worn out I will keep you all posted.

We got the bike back. Dee had a cold ride home while the kids and I sat in the nice warm car. But he was happy the whole way. I have weapons qualification tomorrow we are shooting the M-4 and the 9mm this weekend. It will be a couple of long days. Dee got out and played 9 holes this morning while the kids and I went to get my drivers license changed to the state of georgia. Both of the kids are worn out. It is good to see everyone blogging.

What can I say. I have one day off until the seventeenth. I took my seven level test today which means that if I passed it I am eligible to put on my E-6 stripe. Tech sergeant. As for now I am just a staff sergeant. I think that I did well enough to pass. But passing is passing. We have to go pick up the Harley tomorrow. We just had a new front tire put on. It was over due. It will put a big smile on Dee's face. Now we just have to find a babysitter and some good weather and we could hit the road. Ryleigh and Dustin just hung out today. They keep there daddy on his toes. Dustin loves to brush his teeth. He spits and taps his toothbrush on the sink just like his daddy. It is so cute. Ryleigh keeps herself busy talking to her hands and playing with her ponies. She looks forward to her bedtime book. Not the bedtime part, but the book part. That about sum's it up for the day.

Yesterday Dee went to the liberty county board of education to turn in an application. They were closed. When he got home we made a few phone calls to see if Orange park was open. Orange park is the Dog track. It said that it was. So we made the Two and a half hour drive to find out that they were closed. So we went to the McDonald's across the street and ate. On our drive home there was a lot of traffic. And it was raining very hard. When we finally got home I went to get my nails done. This morning Dee is going to try the board of education again. Both of us started playing the biggest loser contest that my sister and her husbands family are doing for the new year. I want to win, so I took Harley for a run this morning.

Hi everyone. Dee took the baby's to the park yesterday and wore them out. I worked. I will be doing a lot of working the next couple days so if you don't get a posting I'm tired. Today Ryleigh read Her daddy and Dustin Cinderella. I think she summarized the movie. I wasn't home, but Dee said, "that is was so cute. " The things that you miss when you are working. The house is becoming more of a home. Dee has put Some pictures on the walls. We have not done that in any of the houses that we lived in.

Wednesday, December 28, 2005

Hello I'm doing a quick entry this morning. Dee and I stayed busy my last two days off. We decided to finally do the touch up painting. That took a whole day. The kid entertained themselves. We put pictures on the wall This is a big deal. This is the first house that we have lived in that we put something on the wall. This place might be home. YEAH!!! Yesterday I played a very good round of golf. So did Dee. I shot a 56 out of 36 for par. De shot a 50. I was close to beating him. Only six stroks away. Well, I have to go to work. I have to work six days in a row.

I took that picture from my sisters web page. It looks a lot like Dee in his recliner. Mouth open belly out. Dustin and Ry both enjoyed their Christmas. Dustin was not very involved in the opening gifts thing. But after the gifts were open he was all over it. He loves his little work bench. And they are both watching their new movies. Ryleigh got a leap pad and an aquadoodle. She is to busy with the movies to want to play with them. Ross and Niki sent us Some University of Hawaii T-shirts. We will get pictures of them posted in the next couple of days. Thank you very much. Dee got a front tire for his Motorcycle, a motorcycle cover, Some cologne, and some golf shoes. We got a waffle maker from my brother Leonard and sister in law. Thank you. Ryleigh and Dustin got some very cute towels from granny and grandaddy Dickerson. Ryleighs is a Cow Dustins is a monkey. I got a Set of crystal earring and necklace from them. (thank you so much.) I'm sure that I forgot lots of things but I think that we made out very well this Christmas. Out an About.
Today was spent out and about. We decided to load the kids up and drive to Jacksonville FL. So we could bet some horses. Well, as it ends up we got there around 3:00PM. We took the scenic route again (not on purpose). Maybe the next time we go we will get it rite. When we got to the track, all of the programs for Calder race track were sold out. So we did not even get to play the horses. We tried to bet a few dogs. Their was a race that had a dog named rowdy Fay #7 and The #1 dog was Hunting Molly. So how could we go wrong? Molly is my sister and Fay is Dee's sister. Guess what? Neither of them showed up. The baby's had fun watching the dogs.
So I guess that the day was not a complete waste. It feels good to be home. We hope that everyone has a great Christmas. Ryleigh is very excited this year. She knows that when she wakes up she gets to open the gifts. Dustin is still clue less. He just knows that he likes all of the decorations on the tree. He likes them so much that the tree is bare from about three feet and down we can't keep him away from it. Thank goodness the everyday battle is almost over. On Christmas Eve we normally go out and look at Christmas lights. But we are all sick of the car. As you can see there are no presents under the tree. They would have never made it to Christmas. And the tree is naked at Dustin level except the lights. We love you all Remember the reason for the season.
