Ryleigh and Dustin are doing good. They had a really good Christmas, Ryleigh did not get the wig she wanted and Dustin did not get the Nintendo DS that he wanted. So a few days later good old trusty mom went out and bought Ry her wig and Dustin got a used Nintendo DS from Game Stop. Ryleigh wore the wig for about three days in a row. I have been busy playing on facebook and have not got around to typing a blog. Anyway the post office has kept me busy and I ended my orders on the first. I still have to make up six Guard drills so that will keep me busy this month. Dee has been out golfing as often as my schedule will let him. He needs to get away. So I hope that this week we can get him down to Florida or where ever he wants to go. For new Years Dee and I fell asleep and Ryleigh came into the room at about 12:05 and asked for something to drink. She had not been to bed yet but as most of you know that is all we had planned for the New year. So welcome 2009.

Hi every one I had a good time in Reno. I did not get much sleep because my plain left at 1:30am. When I got to Jacksonville I found out that my luggage took a different flight. Sense I have been home I have already gone back to work at the post office and I have to work Christmas eve. The price you pay so that everyone can have a merry Christmas. Anyway my babies are happy to have me home and my poor husband needs a break. We have no Christmas plans except the usual Santa visit. I wish that we lived closer to family so that I could actually make plans and be with them. Who know that day might be coming quicker then I think. Anyway I love you all. I enjoyed my little vacation and I wish that I could have taken everyone. I love you all.

Hi everyone,

I think that this is the last post you will get from the KSA. Everthing has been going well. I need to take more pictures and get them on here so you can see my desert oasis. I'm sitting on a Listning and observation post and I had to kill an hour. I will not be back before thanksgiving but I will make it for christmas. I have a new puppy awaiting my return. My family has grown in my absence. It's all good though, I guess the puppys name is Midnight. Ryleigh and Dustin are both doing well in their school. Dee is enjoying his Two and a half hours of free time in the morning. The word on the street is that when I get back I will be really busy at the post office because of the christmas season, and the fact that they had three subs quit. That is perfect the more that quit the faster I get that full time carrier position. I love you all sorry no spell check again.

I know it has been far to long sience my last post. I have been in Saudi for the past five months and the internet here really sucks. Last night I had the oppratunity to go to a cultural event that they held here on base. I rode a camel just to say that I have riden a camel in Saudi Arabia. The food was good and it was very informative. Yesterday it rained for the second time sense we got here. The temprature is getting much better. Our hottest day of 132 degrees was in July. I do not miss that at all. I was just lucky to be working the night shift. I work in the visitor center mostly so I had AC. I also do patrol frequently and my least favorite job is the search pit. As you all know I was taking classes. The D in Math dropped my GPA to a 2.97. That sucked. I think that uncle sam will ask for some money back. I can't wait to get home. It will not be befor Thanks Giving, but I will be home before Christmas. In July I had a chance to go out into the city of Ryihad. That was a waste of time I think that I got to look in the shops for about 20 minutes. One you had visited four stores you had seen them all. Dee has the kids in KY this weekend. They went to pick up our new puppy. It is a shitzue, very cute. I have gotten some recognition for all my hard work. I was coined by the Command Chief of the Air Force Expiditionary Force command. That was nice. I can't wait to get home. It is amazing how much crap people try and make other people believe. Rumors run wild and it is a good thing that we are leaving soon because I would love to choke a few people out ;) I will be elegible for Master Sergant in June. But I still want to apply for the Active Guard position that would make be loose a stripe. I can't get the spell check to work so sorry about that. I love you all and I will tell you more in December.

The moment that you have all been waiting for. After many days of Dustin telling us that he wanted a hair cut Daddy finally gave in. Dustin got his first hair cut today. Don't worry we kept all his curls. Dee said that while the barber was cutting Dustin's hair he fell asleep. He drooled all the way down his cape. After the hair cut they came home to show me. Dustin was smiling from ear to ear and he told me that he was happy because he look like Walker(one of Dustin's little friends) He went to the bathroom mirror and started to giggle. I can hardly recognise him. We took Ry out of school fifteen minutes early and we all went to the golf course. The kids hit a few but. I would say that I did not do to bad, I have not played in over a month and I almost got a birdie. Ryleigh lost one of the lenses to her glasses. Boo! that will cost a couple hundred to replace. Anyway were just trying to enjoy the time that we have together as a family. love you all.

I'm back from training. That was only Two weeks but it felt like forever. I had two days off and tose two days a few of the guys from my unit decided to trive to the grand canyon. We also went to hover dam. On the 27th when the rest of our unit came in It was all about training. We were out in the field for three and a half days. Nevada was beautiful and I felt right at home. I got to see my Mom and Dad for a few days. The water in our dorm was cold for because the water heater broke while we were there. When we were in the field showers they broke so thoses of us that brought our baby wips took showeres that way. My hair was a wreck. It took me two washes befor I could get all of the sand out of it. I forgot how dry NV was I used a boat load of lotion. When I got home the kids were in bed. but when I woke them up the next morning Ryleigh was so happy to see me. The got be a large porclin cup ffilled with miniture roses, with a card that was signed by everyone. It made me cry. The Chief of our security forces unit came to me the next day(we had to report to work)and told me that he got an e-mail that said that I did a great job and that I was an outstanding NCO, I don't know what I did other then my job, but I told him thank you and played the I'm so modest roll. But of course I was grinning from ear to ear when I left his office. I already know I'm good but it is good to have other people send your supervisors e-mails to reconfirm what you already know. Anyway I guess that is enough for today.

"Off we go into the wild blue yonder." Yep I get on a plane bright an early in the morning. We get to come back home for a few weeks but I told my Ryleigh that I was going to be gone for fourteen days and she started to cry. Good luck to the man of the house. She is going to be a mess. I love all of you and I will see if I can get my hands on a computer this week so I can post. Good night.
