We wanted to wish everyone a happy new year. We are looking forward to a great year. I just thought I would throw in a picture of Dustin dancing. He loves the backyardagains. If any of you have seen the soccer monster that is the one he is dancing too. Dee took peanut to the Vet today. They still don't know what is wrong with him. They gave him a steroid shot I hope it helps him. Monday if they have an opening we will take him to another vet.

Hi everyone. Dee took the baby's to the park yesterday and wore them out. I worked. I will be doing a lot of working the next couple days so if you don't get a posting I'm tired. Today Ryleigh read Her daddy and Dustin Cinderella. I think she summarized the movie. I wasn't home, but Dee said, "that is was so cute. " The things that you miss when you are working. The house is becoming more of a home. Dee has put Some pictures on the walls. We have not done that in any of the houses that we lived in.

Hello I'm doing a quick entry this morning. Dee and I stayed busy my last two days off. We decided to finally do the touch up painting. That took a whole day. The kid entertained themselves. We put pictures on the wall This is a big deal. This is the first house that we have lived in that we put something on the wall. This place might be home. YEAH!!! Yesterday I played a very good round of golf. So did Dee. I shot a 56 out of 36 for par. De shot a 50. I was close to beating him. Only six stroks away. Well, I have to go to work. I have to work six days in a row.

I took that picture from my sisters web page. It looks a lot like Dee in his recliner. Mouth open belly out. Dustin and Ry both enjoyed their Christmas. Dustin was not very involved in the opening gifts thing. But after the gifts were open he was all over it. He loves his little work bench. And they are both watching their new movies. Ryleigh got a leap pad and an aquadoodle. She is to busy with the movies to want to play with them. Ross and Niki sent us Some University of Hawaii T-shirts. We will get pictures of them posted in the next couple of days. Thank you very much. Dee got a front tire for his Motorcycle, a motorcycle cover, Some cologne, and some golf shoes. We got a waffle maker from my brother Leonard and sister in law. Thank you. Ryleigh and Dustin got some very cute towels from granny and grandaddy Dickerson. Ryleighs is a Cow Dustins is a monkey. I got a Set of crystal earring and necklace from them. (thank you so much.) I'm sure that I forgot lots of things but I think that we made out very well this Christmas. Thank you everyone who was involved with our Christmas morning. We made a mess now we have to clean it.

Out an About.
Today was spent out and about. We decided to load the kids up and drive to Jacksonville FL. So we could bet some horses. Well, as it ends up we got there around 3:00PM. We took the scenic route again (not on purpose). Maybe the next time we go we will get it rite. When we got to the track, all of the programs for Calder race track were sold out. So we did not even get to play the horses. We tried to bet a few dogs. Their was a race that had a dog named rowdy Fay #7 and The #1 dog was Hunting Molly. So how could we go wrong? Molly is my sister and Fay is Dee's sister. Guess what? Neither of them showed up. The baby's had fun watching the dogs.
So I guess that the day was not a complete waste. It feels good to be home. We hope that everyone has a great Christmas. Ryleigh is very excited this year. She knows that when she wakes up she gets to open the gifts. Dustin is still clue less. He just knows that he likes all of the decorations on the tree. He likes them so much that the tree is bare from about three feet and down we can't keep him away from it. Thank goodness the everyday battle is almost over. On Christmas Eve we normally go out and look at Christmas lights. But we are all sick of the car. As you can see there are no presents under the tree. They would have never made it to Christmas. And the tree is naked at Dustin level except the lights. We love you all Remember the reason for the season.

Hey, Family Members:

Maryanne asked me to do the print this evening, so here goes. The kids are doing well and as they do each day, they begin in high gear and continue the pace until the lights go out. Ryleigh is growing so fast we can't keep up with her and we see Dustin being pulled along just watching her. The scales are balancing out and Dustin is learning to hit back. Poor Ryleigh was clocked twice this morning with a plastic gardening spade and the drama that followed could have won her an academy award.

Again Maryanne had her day off interrupted by her unit, she was called in for a face to face meeting concerning a possible extending of orders. She really enjoys the job and the soldiers she serves with, it is going to be a challenge for her to replace her golfing partners whenever her time is up.

I played a round of golf today at a Neighborhood course, I never lost a ball, but came close to losing my mind missing one approach shot after another. When you think that my biggest complaint at the end of the day is a bad six iron shot, life is pretty good. Family is doing well, our boxer Peanut has shown some new energy, and if all goes as expected Maryanne will be enrolled in school by the first week in January.

Well, that's all folks. Hope everyone has a Merry, Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

I got an early morning wake up call this morning. It was my flight Chief(boss) He said that I had to Drive to Savannah to fill out some paper work. And that it had to be done today. I don't know why I even took any leave. I have to go to a meeting tomorrow morning. That is supposed to be our first day off. It is a good thing that we did not make a trip to Kentucky. It took me a whole Five minutes to fill out the papers. The good news is that they extended everyone's orders. That will give Dee a chance to find a job he likes. Not just the first one that comes along. Dee also got his final grades. He got a B and an A. Now it is official He is a Collage graduate. So good news all around at the Dickerson house. I have not put up a picture of my mug in a long time I hope that you can all bare it.

I'm trying out my new Christmas present. I opened it early so I could figure out how to use it before Christmas. So I hope that I can get this Wright on the first try. Peanut went to the DR. Today. They said that it was nothing serious. Dee took him so I don't know all the facts. But they do have a prescription for whatever it is.

I tried to play another round of golf this morning. I shot a 71 on the front and a 78 on the back. For thoes of you that don't know golf that is not good at all. I played at hunter army air field. It is a nice course. Next time I should stay in the Cart. I still had fun though. and the more I play the more I want to keep doing it. Enough about me. Ryleigh and Dustin went to the store with me and we bought dee one more gift. We just got a call from Ross and Niki. He just got done with his surgery. Now Niki has the job of keeping him off of his feet. Good Luck Niki he is a Dickerson.

It was a nice day. After the chill wore off. So Dee and I took Ryleigh and Dustin to the park. Dustin went down the slide for the first time. His face lit up like a Christmas tree. Ryleigh pretended that she was digging for gold with her little shovel. It took us a while to get there. Dustin wanted to pick up every leaf on the sidewalk. I started the day out getting my nails done. Dee went to the golf course. After he got back I went to the tanning salon. And that concludes the day.

Our poor poor Peanut. We hope it is just something broken, and it is not genetic. We are having a hard time finding dog sitters. I don't think that Peanut would travel to well. On a much better note. We are glad to find out that Pop's is tuning into all of our blogs. Hi Pop's. I have the next seven days off of work. YEAH!!! We are spending this Christmas together for the first time in over four years. One of us has always had to work. We have had a couple half Christmas days together. But that does not really count for a whole Christmas. That means that I have to cook. Does anyone have any good suggestions?

I think that we are done with the Christmas shopping. We did most of it on line. I spent most of the day packing boxes so I could get everything mailed off. Ryleigh came with me. She helped me carrie the boxes in to the UPS store. Dustin Stayed home and took a long nap. He did not sleep well at all last night. On a not so happy note there is something wrong with peanut. He is limping and he yelps a lot. I think he might have some hip problems. So I guess on my next day off he need to go to the vet. He is just moving very slow. It is sad to see him like this.

The golf game was fun. I have to say all of us suck but we had fun doing it. My best hole was the first hole I had a chance to make birdie. Of course I missed But at leat I got Par. Dee has been working on his last couple of assignments all day. So the baby's did not get much of a chance to play today. Tomorrow will bring the same outcome for the baby's. It is supposed to rain all day. Dustin is working on the moler on the right side of his mouth so he is a little grumpy. He doesen't need them he eats everything that is in front of him anyway. Tonight I Braided ryleighs hair, read her a book, and played tag with her. We are all ready for bed. It has been a long day.

Dee has an "B" average in his Research design class. He only has his final left. I think that we have this class in the bag. He is doing better then he thought he would. I spot the whole day watching the the Air planes rust at work. Ryleigh and Dustin went and played at the playground with dad. When I got home I went and bought a new pair of pants. Only because tomorrow I'm playing a round of Golf with a Group of security forces co workers. I'm going to make a fool out of myself. I hope that I better then a least one of them. I will let you all know tomorrow.

I got out early and played 18 holes of bad golf. When I got home Dee left so he could go work at the golf course. If you go to www.devanie.com my brother in law showed me a great Holiday game. It is called slingshot santa. I hope it works. The baby's just stayed home today It has been a little cold. Hope that we get updates soon.

Saturday, December 10, 2005

Yesterday Ryleigh helped me finish putting up the Christmas lights. Dustin stayed in the house with daddy and watched us from the window. Dustin loves the Christmas tree. It is like a full time job keeping him away from the decorations. Today the plans are to take the kids to McDonald's play place. That way the can play their little hearts out and go to bed early. Dee is going to go play a round with one of his friends. Hope to get updates from everyone soon.

We only have a couple more weeks and Dee will have his Degree. He is a little stressed with all of the papers that he has to write. Yesterday when I was on my way home from work Dee called and said that we had no hot water. He was a little ticked off. He was truing to find out what was wrong with it. So when I got home and he had taken on all he wanted to for the day, I asked him what the noise was. He said What noise. So we walked into the room and found out why we had no hot water. He turned the hot water facet on sometime that day and for got to turn it off. So That was good news. I might not like the water bill next month. But I will take that over replacing a water heater. This morning Ryleigh and Dustin helped me put up the Christmas tree. We will work on the outside of the house later.
